For the tutorial we had to work in class I decided to look for am intricate texture I could apply to my toy (watch) for our final. Ben then explained how to draw it and make it by applying "revolve" and flow along surface on a plane that has a surface
:)

I started with a tutorial on how to import curves from illustrator, where it is easier to control the curves and be more precise. Then I watched a tutorial on how to create complex smooth transitions on objects, using more advanced ways other than fillet edge and surface.

Flower Tutorial

Through this video tutorial I learned about cage editing. Seen through the flower petals and sepal (star shape looking) after hitting "cage edit" I clicked on "bounding box" and was able to highlight certain points in order to bend the shape that I wanted.

In this tutorial I learned how translate a sketch into a 3D-model. This tutorial also reinforced my skills in modeling organic shapes, especially for technology. It was helpful seeing someone else's different workflow for modeling, as it allows me to refine mine.

Because I got to class late, I definitely missed the point of this class/ looking for a tutorial. I don't know why, but I was under the impression that the tutorial was to go with our final, and that we could find one at anytime. . . so I spent my class period making a shot glass with a dinosaur on it. Oops.

I wanted to learn how to make a flowing organic surface like cloth, cushioning or a pillow. I learned how to manipulate curves and how to use curve networks while making this pillow.
